I miss not getting an Easter basket. I miss making them for my kids. (I make one for my mom now, but she's 90.)
Has Easter become another holiday where people see the need to buy actual gifts to celebrate? (Okay, maybe an outfit for the little ones is acceptable.)
I think Thanksgiving might be the only big holiday left where you don't feel obligated to buy gifts or send cards.
Can kids still be satisfied with a nice basket of candies & little things and reading a few Easter time books?
I tend to agree with you.... Halloween is the new Christmas. It's really supposed to be the thought that counts.
