Good ol' Michel de Nostredame (AKA Nostradamus) was a French apothecary and reputed seer who published collections of prophecies. The best known is Les Propheties (The Prophecies) which first appeared in 1555.
In that book, he predicted that the world would come to an end when these three religious holidays intersected :
- Good Friday falls on St. George’s Day (23 April),
- Easter Sunday falls on St. Mark’s Day (25 April),
- Corpus Christi falls on John the Baptist’s Day (24 June)
This
coincidence came about in AD 45, 140, 387, 482, 577, 672, 919, 1014, 1109, 1204,
1421, 1451, 1546, 1666, 1734, 1886, and 1945.
World still turning. Still have to get up & go to work.
